On Chainlink 24/5 U.S. Equity Streams, lastTradedPrice is deprecated as a production input. New integrations should not depend on it, and existing integrations should remove production dependencies by October 12, 2026. The field will remain in the RWA Advanced (v11) schema and may continue to be populated, but after October 12, 2026 it will no longer be monitored for availability, accuracy, or data quality on these streams. This change does not apply to other streams using the RWA Advanced (v11) schema.

SVR enabled by default on Base
Starting Aug 26, 2026, Chainlink Smart Value Recapture (SVR) will be enabled by default for BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, XRP, SOL and ADA Data Feeds on Base. We expect there to be zero service disruption during the switch and no action is needed.
Protocols can opt out at any time by reading from the "Standard" proxy address that complements every SVR proxy. See Chainlink SVR Feeds Documentation for details.

CRE CLI v1.19.0 — `--listen` for Simulate, Browser Secrets in Production
CRE CLI version 1.19.0 is now available. A new --listen flag for cre workflow simulate keeps the simulator alive and reruns it for each incoming HTTP POST or EVM log trigger event, making it easier to iterate on trigger-driven workflows. Browser OAuth secrets auth is now enabled in production (with a fix for flows that broke when the default CRE_ETH_PRIVATE_KEY placeholder was set). Workflow output for deploy, activate, and pause now shows the resolved DON Family. The CLI also auto-resolves RPC endpoints for the capability registry chain and prompts for consent during secrets operations.

Chainlink is deprecating support for the legacy Flux Monitor, Direct Request, and Run Log job types.
After Chainlink Node version 2.47, these job types will no longer be supported. Node operators and developers that continue to rely on them can choose to remain on the last compatible release, but should not expect ongoing development support, including maintenance, bug fixes, security patches, or compatibility with future releases.
Teams using these legacy job types should begin planning to upgrade to the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) as an alternative.

CRE CLI version 1.14.0 is now available. Vault browser flows for listing and deleting secrets align more closely with workflow-owner identity, and loading .env no longer overwrites 1Password op:// secret references.

CRE Go SDK v1.8.0 — Ordered Map Iteration Helpers and Report Verification
Go SDK version 1.8.0 is now available. This release adds cre.OrderedEntries and cre.OrderedEntriesFunc — new helper functions that return a sorted iterator over map entries, removing the boilerplate of manually collecting and sorting keys before iteration. cre.OrderedEntries works with any map whose keys implement cmp.Ordered (strings, integers, etc.), and cre.OrderedEntriesFunc accepts a custom comparator for maps with struct or other non-ordered keys. Use these helpers anywhere you iterate over a map in DON mode to guarantee consistent key ordering across all nodes. This release also adds report verification support to the SDK.

We have addressed a minor bug with 24/5 US Equity Data Streams & Tokenized Equity Data Feeds. For both Data Streams and Data Feeds, no negative user impact is expected. For Data Streams, users may experience slightly less frequent data points during transitions from the overnight session to the extended hours session, but the accuracy of the data during the extended hours session is now higher. For Data Feeds, users can expect no difference in the values they are reading from the onchain contracts.

Chainlink 24/5 U.S. Equities Streams provide real-time equity pricing data across all major U.S. single-name equities and ETFs spanning regular, pre-market, post-market, and overnight trading sessions.

New risk category and improved feed visibility
We've introduced a new Very High Market Risk category across Chainlink documentation pages and data.chain.link to better distinguish data feeds that are subject to extreme market risk beyond the existing High Market Risk classification. These feeds may reflect assets undergoing significant market events, severe liquidity constraints, or deprecation.
To improve transparency and consistency, feeds are no longer hidden based on risk level. All feeds are now visible and clearly labeled, allowing developers to make informed decisions using more granular risk classifications.

Candlestick API: Groups endpoint and user resolution support
The Data Streams Candlestick API now offers a new /groups endpoint that returns a list of all supported symbol types (crypto, equities, forex, equity) which can be used as a filter in the /symbol_info endpoint. Risk Management Network Coverage:Certain CCIP integrations may not initially include the Risk Management Network (RMN). Blockchains can be integrated with CCIP in a phased approach, starting with the deployment of the Committing and Executing Decentralized Oracle Networks (DONs), followed by the addition of the Risk Management Network in a subsequent update. During a phased deployment, the relevant Commit Stores are configured in the Risk Management contract to always be considered blessed until the Risk Management Network has been deployed for that blockchain. New Version of EVMExtraArgs:Chainlink CCIP 1.5 introduces a new version of EVMExtraArgs, allowing users to set the allowOutOfOrderExecution parameter. Payment in native gas tokens and approved non-LINK tokens is now available for upkeeps on Automation v2.3 or later. Currently this capability is available on the Base Sepolia testnet.
When you register a new upkeep, you can select whether you want to pay in LINK, the native gas token, or an approved non-LINK token for the chain that you are using. After you register the upkeep, the payment setting cannot be updated.

USD-denominated premium fees on all supported networks
Chainlink Functions now uses USD-denominated fixed premium fees on all supported networks. This means that the premium fees are set in USD, but no USD is ever used. The LINK equivalent of the fee is calculated at request time, and then deducted from your subscription in LINK at response time. See the example cost calculation for more information. The networks that have just switched from LINK-denominated premium fees to USD-denominated premium fees are:
- Ethereum mainnet and Sepolia testnet
- Arbitrum mainnet

If you have any upkeeps that are not yet migrated to v2.1, using older registries that are paused, the only action you can take is either to migrate these upkeeps or to cancel them. Affected upkeeps will show a Deprecated label in the Chainlink Automation App. When you hover over the label, it displays a link you can click to begin the migration process.

Updated VRF V2.5 contracts
The @chainlink/contracts package version 1.1.1 is now available. It includes the updated wrapper and interface contracts for VRF 2.5 direct funding, which had not been included in the @chainlink/contracts package version 1.1.0. The DirectFundingConsumer.sol example contract has been updated to reflect this.
The @chainlink/contracts also includes an updated function signature for fulfillRandomWords in the VRFConsumerBaseV2Plus contract, which applies only to subscription users. This function signature has not changed in the VRFV2PlusWrapperConsumerBase, so this does not affect direct funding users.
When using package version 1.1.1 and later, update your fulfillRandomWords function signature to match the VRFConsumerBaseV2Plus contract, which has changed to: function fulfillRandomWords(uint256 requestId, uint256[] calldata randomWords)
In the @chainlink/contracts package version 1.1.0 and earlier, the randomWords parameter has a memory storage location.

Chainlink's CCIP now supports WETH (Wrapped Ether) transfers through the Lock and Unlock token mechanism.
This feature allows CCIP to securely lock tokens on the source blockchain and subsequently release an equivalent amount of tokens on the destination blockchain, facilitating seamless cross-chain transfers of WETH. The introduction of this mechanism enables WETH transfers across several key lanes.
